The Google Adsense Blog talks about it and it kind of sounds like what I went through during my first few weeks with adsense.
I couldn't wait to check how much money I had made and I would check like once every hour!
I know - crazy isn't it? Well after a few months I have calmed down a little bit - now I check like every 4 or 5 hours - LOL!

You want to get your adsense payment. But the dollar is at an all time low against the pound sterling. Mine will be converted to pounds! I'm stalling - hoping the value of the dollar will go up. I added pages to my site yesterday and then added them as channels on adsense. Then I realised that just one page brought in half the adsense clicks. I would have been better just improving that one popular page and making it even more popular. It's too late now. I'll have to see how the new pages go. Incidentally, the Google desktop with sidebar has a gadget you can add to it and check you adsense any time.

Well I don't think that you should give up hope on any page that you have adsense on. I mean that is part of my job helping people optimize their pages so that they can get more adsense earnings. So I believe that any page can be worked with as far as adsense is concerned.
