A Little SEO Experiment

I posted a while back about how well my blog ranked when the search term "adsense consultant" was typed into google's search engine. Usually my blog will show up on page 1 or page 2 of google's search engine results. Well I did another seo check of the term "adsense consultant" and while a link to one of my posts showed up on page 2 of google's search engine results, my actual blog didn't show up until page three! So a little more work is necessary.

When you are trying to optimize your website or blog for higher rankings in the search engines remember to use the keywords that you want to associate with your site. In my blog's case it would be:

adsense consultant

adsense consultants

"adsense consultant"

adsense help

help with adsense

Of course there are other keywords that people have used that led them to my blog but for now I want to concentrate on some of the main search terms that I want to have associated with my blog.

If you have a new website or blog and you want your site to show up in google's search engine results as fast as possible, you're going to have to decide what keywords you want to associate with your site and then do the work to incorporate those keywords into your website.

Since I am an adsense consultant then I want to target my blog to those that need help with their adsense. It doesn't matter whether they are new to adsense or whether they have had adsense for a while. People still need help with their adsense accounts. They want to know how they can optimize their adsense earnings so that they can earn as much as they can. They want to know how they can get their website or blog to show as high up on the search engine results or rankings as possible. They want to know the higher or highest paying keywords so that they can earn even more money with their adsense. They want to know how they can increase their website traffic so that they can get even more adsense earnings.

On and on people have a lot of questions about adsense. They want to know how they can make a lot of adsense money.

That's why I'm an adsense consultant.

The Computer Dude Is On Page One Of Google's Search Engine Results!

Since The Computer Dude is one of my clients, I checked where some of his traffic is coming from today.

Someone did a search for "computer dude" and my client's blog address came up on the first page of Google's search results! That's good for him and good for me because it lets me know that I am doing a good job as far as the client is concerned as far as optimizing his blog for the search engines!

I read somewhere that 50% of a site's traffic comes from the search engines so optimizing your website or blog for the search engines is a DEFINITE MUST if you want to optimize your site to earn as much as you can from adsense.

Client-The Computer Brother Has Been Approved For Adsense!

The Computer Brother's Blog has been approved by adsense and now the adsense ads are up!

Like I said before when you first sign up for adsense your blog or website has to be reviewed by them. In this case it too adsense just 2 days to send the email to my client saying that their blog was approved. After getting the news I immediately added some adsense ads to my client's blog.

If you take a good look at The Computer Brother's Blog you will see that the adsense ads match the content of the blog.

Now since the adsense ads were just added last night there aren't any numbers to report as to how much the client has made so far. And since this is July 30th and there is one more day left in the month of July their numbers may be small.

But the client is excite and I am excited too!

We're both anxious to see how soon those adsense numbers start adding up.

The next thing to do is to work on The Computer Brother blog's traffic! I have a good idea in mind to help with that process but I will have to implement it first before I post the results here!

In the meantime, if you'd like to see the kind of work that I do then just visit The Computer Brother's Blog. Look at the adsense ads. Take a look at the counter and note the traffic so far and look and see how well the adsense ads blend in well with the layout, look and color scheme of the blog.

Don't Give Up On Your Blog!

I see a lot of posts from people who talk about how they have had their blog for a year and have yet to make at least the $100 minimum to get an adsense payment.

First let me tell you that I reached the $100 minimum earnings in my 2nd month! And this was before I started this blog!

Almost any blog (or website) can be worked to optimize it for more adsense earnings!

One of the best ways to optimize your blog (or website) for more adsense earnings is to think of your site as a learning manual. It almost doesn't matter what the subject matter is as long as there IS a subject matter. It is very important that your site have a theme or niche because that is one of the best ways to get the right kind of targeted advertising.

Take a look at one of my clients, The Computer Dude's Blog. If you take a look at the ads on the right you will see that the ads match the content of his blog. It may surprise you to know that one of the keywords that adsense crawled for on this blog resulted in a cpm rate of over $100!

You would think that a site that talks about computers would get a low advertising rate because there are so many other sites online about computers. But it all has to do with the kind of content that you put on your site. Now if this kind of stragedy can work for a blog about computers, you can apply these same stagedies to a blog about being a single woman, a blog about your life or even a blog about fishing - YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO PROVIDE THE RIGHT KIND OF CONTENT IF YOU WANT TO MAXIMIZE YOUR ADSENSE POTENTIAL AND MAXIMIZE YOUR ADSENSE EARNINGS!

Here is a link to a previous post about how much some people are making using adsense:

A List Of Blogger Earnings!

If you take a good look at this list you will see that there are many different types of blogs and many different kinds of sites that are earning a lot of money via their adsense earnings. And its not just big sites that are earning good adsense revenues. There are a lot of individuals that are earning $2K and more a month using adsense.

So you don't give up on your blog! For one thing your blog has already been established and it will take you more time to build up a new blog and optimize it for adsense. Secondly if you take a look at the list that was mentioned above you will see that all different kinds of sites and blogs have been able to earn good adsense money - why would you think that your blog couldn't do this too?

As long as your blog or website has a theme or niche it has a good adsense earning potential!

The Computer Brother

Well The Computer Brother has his blog up and ready and recently applied to Adsense so that they could join Adsense. This was just done yesterday and we are both awaiting work on whether or not his blog has been approved for adsense.

Once approved then the ads can be added to his blog!

It's Nice Being Called A "Pro" - But Don't Try To Take Advantage of Me!

I got an email from someone that wanted me to work on a commission basis - which is something that I do NOT do!. The emailer wanted their adsense earnings to increase to over 200%! They didn't mention a span of time that they wanted this to happen. However they did mention that I would be paid if and only if their adsense earnings had reached that amount.

What do you think of this kind of offer?

I told them that I was definitely not interested in such an offer!

The services that I offer include adsense consulting, blog reviews, content provider and search engine optimation. I think that it is unrealistic to expect a site to increase their earnings by over 200% in a short length of time. I think that it is realistic to expect a significant increase in one's adsense earnings if they do more to optimize their site and provide better and more relevent content. But the work does not stop there. You have to constantly look at your numbers to see what can be done to increase your adsense earnings. You have to bring in more traffic. You have to provide content that includes higher paying keywords so that will bring you higher/more earnings.

I was looking at the adsense numbers for The Computer Dude today and found out that one of the keywords crawled from Adsense's spider generated an advertiser with a rate of over $100! That is what I mean when I say that you should optimize your site for the higher paying keywords! And don't think that just because your site or blog is about something that you don't think will generate higher paying keywords - you would be wrong! You just have to know how to provide the right kind of content and how to incorporate that content into your site or blog.

So no I do not work on a commission basis!

The Computer Dude Is On Page 1 Of Google's Search Results!

Imagine my surprise! I didn't think that The Computer Dude's blog would show up so soon!

How amazing (at least I think so) for a blog that is just a few months old!

Remember when I said in my last post that the next thing that I would have to work on for my client was to help increase his traffic? Well I think that this is a great start!

Here's An Interesting Poll - How Much Money Did You Make With Adsense Last Month?

I have added my comments to this poll but it's very interesting to see what others had to say.

Some have made less than $30 a month and some have made even more with their adsense.

It would be good if you clicked on the link just to see what others have been earning with their adsense - if for no other reason - just to compare what they have made with what you have made.

Blog Review - The Computer Dude!

A while back I mentioned that I had my first (paying) client (besides myself of course). This client was totally new to blogs and blogging. Of course he had seen blogs all over the internet but he just thought that he would never have one. Well I changed all of that! Now The Computer Dude has a blog of his own! As you can see he is into computers and computer repair. He has told me that he doesn't seem to get much business mostly because people don't seem to want to pay anything. I have told him that I have had potential clients like that and I am sure that this is true in almost every profession there is out there!

I explained all the advantages to him about having a blog. The most important of which is that people all over the world will be able to see his blog, find out more about him and even be able to ask him questions! It also gives him a good business identity. He can put his blog address on all of his business materials including his business cards and any other promotional material that his business has.

Take a good look at his blog. I chose one of Blogger's layouts but of course the layout can be changed to almost any way that he wants. There are many different websites that have Blogger-type layouts that one can use.

The adsense ads have been added to his blog and I incorporated the adsense ads so that they blend with the color scheme of the blog.

Still in it's beginning stages, the blog lacks content and I would recommend that he (and any other bloggers) add at least 2 entries per week. Even more would be better but if you're new to blogging, adding 2 entries a week is a good starting point.

I would also like it if the blog had more content on the right side of the blog just to fill it out more. Depending on your style, interests, etc. there are widgets out there that you can add to your blog to make it look more like your blog (plus it helps to fill some of the empty spaces). Don't have your blog look too bare but don't have so much stuff on there that makes it look crowded.

I have also included a counter and a stats tracking code so that the blogger can track his traffic and see where his traffic is coming from.

Since I am giving this client the full-blown treatment, the next thing to work on is increasing his traffic.

I will post more on the progress of this client here on my blog.

I think I did a pretty good job so far, don't you?

Question - How Much Will I Have To Pay To Join Adsense?

How Much Will I Have To Pay To Join The Adsense Program?

In a word you don't have to pay anything to join adsense. If you did then they must have let me slide when I joined.

The only real thing that you need to join Google's adsense program is a website or blog. Of course that website or blog has to be approved by adsense first. They don't accept sites of an adult nature, gambling or otherwise illegal sites.

But when your site is approved then you will be able to go through the process of picking your adsense ads to put on your site.

Oh For Joy! Payment In Progress!

Payment In Progress!

As you can see the "Payment In Progress" line has appeared! Oh for joy!

Now it's just a matter of time to see how long it will take before I get the payment! I remember reading somewhere here on the internet where some had said that Adsense waits until the banks are closed before they start the process of sending the payment to the banks (if you chose the EFT option). I noticed the "Payment In Progress" line on my account around 7:15 pm - Eastern Standard Time. I know that Adsense doesn't operate on the same time schedule as eastern standard time and it kind of gives me a headache trying to figure it out. According to my brain matter it would have been around 4pm Adsense time when they processed this.

I was so hoping to see the payment in progress line today (actually I was hoping to see it during the weekend!) but as most people have said the process doesn't usually start until Tuesday!

So I'm glad that I have the above picture! Hopefully its not a mirage!

Let's hear it for wishful thinking!

I Do Not Review Websites/Blogs For Free

There is a wealth of free information online about blogs including how you can increase traffic to your blog, how to optimize your blog or website for the search engines and much, much more.

I charge a minimum of $100 to review a blog. Why? Because when people ask you to look at their blog they are looking for detailed criticism. They want to know exactly what they can do to improve the look of their blog, how they can increase traffic to their blog or how they can make their blog show up in the search engines. And like I said in the above paragraph there are lots of sites that offer this kind of information for free.

I am an Adsense Consultant which means I charge a fee for helping people with their adsense account(s). I also have a service where I will help start up a blog for you. You can see my client's The Computer Dude's blog to see just how my services look. What qualifies me to be an Adsense Consultant? I started getting my adsense payment the second month that I joined adsense. While I'm wary of revealing just how much I make with Adsense, I will tell you that I have been able to get an adsense payment every month since that 2nd month which means that I have at least been able to earn the $100 minimum each month.

It also seems that I am also becoming a blog consultant. Even though blogging has become a very popular topic there are still those that don't know a lot about blogging but what they do know is that they would like to start a blog of their own.

Lastly I am also a SEO consultant as well. SEO stands for search engine optimization and what that means is that you want to optimize your site for the search engines - meaning that you want your site to show a high ranking when it appears in the search engine results.

What qualifies me to be a SEO consultant? Type in the search term "adsense consultant" and see where my blog is listed. Usually my blog will show up on page 2 of Google's search engine results. Sometimes it shows up on page one. I have managed to do this with my blog being only about 4 months old. I haven't submitted my blog to the search engines and I believe that I got the search engine rankings I did was because of the content that I provide on my blog.

That is exactly what you have to do if you want your site(s) to show high in the search engine results. You have to decide which keywords you want your site to be associated with and you have to see where your site ranks on the search engines. If your site isn't ranked as high as you want it to be then you have to work to get the rank results that you want and you have to keep working on it constantly. Every day new websites and new blogs are added to the Internet - which is another chance for your website or blog to be "knocked down" on the search engine results - which means you have to constantly work on the content of your site.

Question - What Kinds Of Sites Are Accepted By Adsense?

You can click the link above to go to Adsense's very own help site. There you can read Adsense's official policy towards the kinds of sites that they will and will not accept for their adsense program.

I do know that adsense doesn't accept gambling, illegal and adult sites. Although some people have said that they have seen adsense ads on adult sites I wouldn't risk it! And neither should you!

"My Pet Hamster"

I read someone saying that if you started a blog about your pet hamster that you could forget about being able to make money with adsense. I don't agree with that statement. First of all I have come to realize that almost anything is possible! Furthermore I also know that the pet industry is a billion dollar a year industry and that just goes to show you that people love their pets and are willing to spend a lot of money on their pets.

Now how does this relate to you and your blog about your pet? If you talk about your pet on your blog then you are going to get adsense ads about pets (if you word your content right). Putting up pictures of your pet also helps because people like to look at other people's pets. Others may even have "pet" blogs of their own and you and them can link to each other. Let people leave comments on your blog and you leave comments on other people's blogs.

Don't let people dictate to you what kind of blog you should have. The only real advice that should be followed is that your blog have a theme or niche. Having a blog about your pet hamster is a pet-related blog and falls under the heading of your blog having a theme. So don't let people tell you what kind of blog you can have.

You can have a money-making adsense blog about your pet hamster. You just have to know how to word the content of your blog so that you get higher paying advertisers!

$300?

I actually saw where someone was advertising for an

Adsense Consultant

and they were offering to pay them between $100 and $300 to set up a "few" websites. I think that this is an incredibly low-ball offer but there have been bids on that ad.

This reminds me of the talks and discussions from webpage designers who talked about how clients - or should I say potential clients - wanted to pay far less than what the webdesigners were willing to work for.

And just like some of webdesigners did I'm sure that there are a lot of people that would jump at the chance to take on that job for that amount of money. But you know what? I'm willing to bet that the job is going to be far more work than was thought for the one that takes it. There were no specifics mentioned about what the work involved - only that some websites were needed. Does that mean that an Adsense account had to be created? Whose name will it be in? Will both the freelancer and the client have access to the Adsense account? How much content will the client provide? How much content will the freelancer provide? What about the work involved in driving traffic to the website? What about search engine optimization?

All of that for just $300? I don't think so!

Keywords!

In order to have your site at the top of the search engine rankings you need to decide which keywords will bring you the best results! Now I did some work and found out that the term "adsense consultant" showed my page on page 2 of Google's search engine results.

However to help my blog go even higher in the search engine results, I found that these keywords were the ones that I should concentrate on:

As you can see these keyword search terms relate a lot to what my blog is all about. Once I start implementing them into my sites, my sites should show an even higher result in the search engines!

Now this is exactly what YOU have to do if you want your site/blog to appear high on the list of search engine results.

You Work Hard For Your Adsense Money!

Interesting post from the Adsense blog.

I especially like the part where they mentioned that they were getting nearer to the end of the month and that they know that people were anxiously awaiting their adsense checks.

I often wondered about the process that was involved in issuing the payments (to be more precise I wondered why it takes so long!!!!!!.

It seems that Adsense has to verify the amounts they issue before they actually send them out and that this process can take anywhere from a short amount of time to a long amount of time. It also brings up the issue of just how many Adsense publishers out there have to be processed by adsense every month?

Another good question that they answer is the question of whether or not one gets their payment faster if they chose the electronic transfer as opposed to getting a check sent to them. Adsense's answer is that the processing time is the same for both options but the electronic transfer is faster than a check going through the mail.

What's The Earliest Date That I Got An Adsense Payment?

Well a few days ago just out of curiousity I checked my adsense payments for the last year. Although my adsense payments averaged around the 24th of the month, I did notice that for November of last year my adsense payment was issued on December 20th. Now I checked back on my calendar and found out that date was on a Wednesday and for some reason I seem to remember getting that payment before Christmas - although I can't explain how.

Today is the 19th of the month and I'm sure that starting tommorrow the monthly mad frenzy of getting your adsense payment will begin!

Are You Addicted To Adsense?

I hope the above link works. It's a link to a myspace blog that talks about being addicted to Adsense. When I saw the title "addict" and "adsense" it occured to to that I am addicted to Adsense. One good thing about that is that since I am an Adsense Consultant at least I have a good reason for being addicted to adsense.

But some of the "symptons" really hit home for me. One of them was "Do you check your adsense earnings more than once a day?" - for me the answer to that is a great big fat

YES

What is also interesting to note about the blog entry is that the author feels that since so many people now belong to adsense that the potential to make a lot of money using adsense has decreased. Personally I don't feel this way. I still think that there is a lot of earning potential using adsense. But I would be curious to see what other seasoned adsense publishers have to say about this.

My Blog Was Locked!

"

Your blog is locked

Blogger's spam-prevention robots have detected that your blog has characteristics of a spam blog. (What's a spam blog?) Since you're an actual person reading this, your blog is probably not a spam blog. Automated spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and we sincerely apologize for this false positive.

We received your unlock request on July 17, 2007. On behalf of the robots, we apologize for locking your non-spam blog. Please be patient while we take a look at your blog and verify that it is not spam.

Find out more about how Blogger is fighting spam blogs.

The next day, later in the afternoon I got an email from them:

Hello,

Your blog has been reviewed, verified, and cleared for regular use so that
it will no longer appear as potential spam. If you sign out of Blogger and
sign back in again, you should be able to post as normal. Thanks for your
patience, and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Ask Your Questions

As you can see I have provided an option of you being able to ask me a question. Your question can be about Adsense, blogging, or general questions about optimizing your blog/website for the search engines - getting your site to have a higher search engine ranking.

There are 2 sets of questions. Paid and free. You can ask a free question either by sending me an email or posting a comment to this blog. Your question will be answered in 7 - 14 days.

Paid Questions - Paid questions cost $10 each and you can make your payment via Paypal. Once you make your payment, you will be provided with the option of sending me a message with your question on it. Please don't forget to leave a link to your blog/site's url. If you post a paid question via commenting on my my blog, your comment along with the url to your site (don't forget to include it) will be added to my blog. Paid questions will be answered in 48 - 72 hours.

There are some things though that have to be made clear!

  • I will not review your blog for $10. Blog reviews cost $100 per blog and you will get a full review of your blog emailed to you. You can find out more about the other services I provide by going to my adsense page

  • Do not ask me for specific help as regards to increasing your site's traffic or increasing your site's rankings in the search engines! That requires much more work than I am willing to do for just $10

So far I have had some good results with the questions and you can view them right here on this blog. Who knows? Maybe your question will already have been answered here on this blog!

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Consultant

What does a search engine optimization consultant do? They help you get your website or blog a higher ranking in the search engines. Why is my fee so expensive? Obviously you haven't seen what other people are charging for this kind of service.

Adsense Consultant

Search Engine Optimization Consultant

If you hire me and expect your site to be on page one of the search engine rankings then I am going to return your money!

Your website or blog has to be analyzed first!

If you have certain keywords in mind you will also have to include that information in the information box that comes up when you submit your payment.

Do you even know where your site ranks as far as the key words that you want? If you don't know then someone has to do that - and that would be me! That is going to involve a LOT of work!

How is your site's traffic now? Does your site have a counter? Does your site have a stats counter to track your website visitors?

A lot of this is going to involve the content of your site. Is the content on your site optimized for better search engine optimization? If not new or modified content will have to be added to your site.

Last but not least your site's results will have to be monitored to see how well the process is working.

So many people want their sites to rank higher in the search engine results but so few of them are willing to do the work that is necessary.

So far my page rank is pretty good. My blog shows up on page 2 of the search engine results for a specific set of keywords. I think that's pretty darn good to be on page 2 of over 2 Million listed results!

How does YOUR site rank?

Search Engine Optimization - SEO for short

What is search engine optimization? It means that you are optimizing your website (or blog) so that your site's url shows up on the first few pages that the search engines list. Of course the ultimate that you would want to achieve would be that your site shows up on page one of the search engine results. But you have to realize that the internet is constantly changing. New websites (or blogs) are being put up on the internet every day!

So how do you increase your site's rankings. And a lot of people would like to know how you can do this kind of thing for free!

The first thing you should is to let everyone you know know about your site (or blog). Tell them, send them an email and make business cards with your site's url on them! Heck why don't you make a flyer to announce your new website (or blog!

Now my blog has a pretty good counter/visitor number (which reminds me that you should also include a counter on your site - that way you can monitor how much traffic you are getting. If you get the right stats tracker you can also see where your site's visitors are coming from).

Any and all advertising that I have done has been free!

Since my blog is about being an Adsense Consultant then my target market is those people that are new to Adsense and need help with it. And that is to whom I market and advertise to. I let my counter number speak for itself as to how successful I have have been so far.

Another piece of advice for optimizing your site for the search engines is that a lot will depend on what your site is about.

You have to ddfine who your target market is - who is most likely to be interested in your site - your answer to that would be your target market and those are the people that you will have to go after.

Another thing that I forgot to mention about optimizing your site is that a lot of visitor traffic comes via the search engines. So you want your site to show up on the search engines as high as possible. Let's take my blog for example. Even though my blog is a few months old I am already on page 2 of search engine results for the key phrase "adsense consultant" - which I think is very good for a blog that is about 4 months old! How did I do it? A lot of it has to do with the wording and content of my blog. A lot of times I have been quite lucky (remember the Internet is always changing with adding new sites all the time!) and a lot of times it is the result of the work that I put into the blog.

While getting to be on page 2 of the search engine results is a good achievement of course I am working on getting my blog to page 1!

Those "Pay For Surveys" Sites

I'm getting kind of dis-heartened with them. There's only 1 that I see some promise with but it's still too early in the game to give it a complete "thumbs up"!

Have you heard the saying "don't put all of your eggs in one basket"? It kind of alludes to the fact that one shouldn't just rely solely on their Adsense Income. But I think that if you're not sure of the validity of the other affiliate programs that are out there you shouldn't join up with them - at least not until you are sure.

People have made some astounding amounts of money using Adsense - let's say for the sake of argument a general monthly total of at least $3,000. That would be a good and decent monthly amount to be able to live on. Of course I'm sure that you'd want to make more and you would keep trying to make more but at least knowing a monthly amount would help. Unfortunately its kind of hard - if not impossible - to predict how much one will make using Adsense. There are just too many variables involved with this. You have to keep looking at your account to see what's going on ie how much traffic you are getting, how much you are earning per click and the percentage of hits vs clicks. And even then you never know when your pages' traffic will "spike" or hit an all-time low - so you can never really fully estimate how much Adsense money you will make.

However Adsense is a lot more trusty than some of the other affiliate sites out there. I'm currently looking at others and there are a few that look promising. I will add them here after I have had a chance to review them.

Can You Change The Font That Appears In Your Blog?

Here's an interesting little question: Can you change the font that appears on your blog?

In a word yes you can but the problem is that whoever is viewing your blog must have the same font. So if you put in a font like Antique then the person that is viewing your blog has to have the same font installed on their computer.

Actually this is a lot of fun but it does require you knowing a little bit about html coding.

It's fun to experiment with different kinds of fonts and colors and sizes

But remember the person that is looking at your blog has to have the same font installed on their computer.

Why Am I Only Getting PSA's On My Site?

Well there could be a number of reasons why you are only getting PSAs on your site instead of adsense ads. For one thing your site may be newly approved by adsense and their crawlers haven't had a chance to "crawl" your site's contents yet and that is why you are getting PSAs instead of ads. According to Google's official adsense help site they say that it could take 48 hours or more before your site has been adequately searched for relative content for the adsense ads.

Another reason could be simply that Adsense can't access the page/url that you gave them. If such is the case Adsense will notify you via your adsense account page.

There may also be a problem if your site has frames.

If you have modified your adsense ad code then that may be another reason why your site is only showing PSAs

Here is another interesting reason why PSAs may be showing on your site - If your site has "refresh" html coding added to it that may be another reason why you are getting PSA's

A. W. Surveys

Here is a affiliate/survey website that I found online. It seemed tempting because you get $6 upon signup but I found some very interesting things about this website and this company.

First it's a site where you get paid to take surveys. You can get paid anywhere from $4 to (they say)$25 per survey. Once your account reaches $75 you can cash out. You have 2 options to cash out. You can get a check mailed to you (it will take 4-6 weeks to get it) or you can get paid via your Paypal account. HOWEVER IF YOU CHOOSE THE PAYPAL OPTION $25 WILL BE TAKEN OUT AS PART OF AN "EPEDIATED" FEE (whatever the heck that is!). This means that if your account reaches $75 and you want to get paid via paypal, $25 will get deducted from your balance so you will only get $50. If you choose to get paid by check then there is no fee deducted and you get the whole amount).

Now this is one of the things that I didn't like about this site's program. Why would they take 1/3! But if this doesn't sway you from wanting to join the program just click the link above and register for a new account. It doesn't cost anything and its free for you to sign up.

Now I did a little researching online about this site and its program and what I get is that opinions run half and half. One of the biggest arguments is that if we are considered so important as consumers then why does this site have so few surveys for us to fill out? - meaning in other words it will take a while to accumulate the minimum cash out value of $75 if there aren't a lot of surveys to fill out.

I have read that some people have used it and got paid - so time will tell. I just joined this site yesterday and have already accumulated $27 in my account - so I still need another $48 before I can cash it out.

This site also has an affiliate program included along with the taking of surveys. You get around a dollar for every person that signs up via your referrel. Like I said I have only been with this program since yesterday so there aren't any conclusive numbers to report yet. Like most affiliate programs you can get the codes to paste to your site so that others can click on it to find out more (and hopefully join) about the program.

I don't have a conclusive review as of yet because like I said I have only been with this program since yesterday but I do have some thoughts on this program.

  • I think that $25 fee that they charge for the option of cashing out via Paypal is ridiculous!

  • The number of surveys that they offer are not many. The first day I joined there were 4 surveys that I answered. Today I checked and there were none - but in their defense maybe its just too soon to say.

I will let you know of my progress using this survey/affiliate program.

"How Do I Add The Adsense Codes To My Site?"

This question seems to be asked a lot. The most simplest answer is that you add the Adsense codes manually. If you have a blog on Blogger.com you have the option of them adding the Adsense codes for you. But if you want to do this yourself then you will actually have to go in the source of your site and add the adsense codes yourself.

For instance, take a good look at my own blog - The Adsense Consultant - and you will see that I have Adsense codes on the right side and after each blog post. How did I add the codes? Once I went through the process of deciding which sized ads and what color I wanted those ads to be I got the code for the ads. I copied and pasted them into the template of my blog. Of course it may take some trial and error of getting the adsense codes to look just right but seeing since you want to make the most of your adsense ads' placement then going through a little trial and error won't hurt. In fact it may even help you for when you want to tweak your Adsense ads for better earnings potential.

Now I do have Adsense ads on some webpages and the basic process is the same. After I have gone through the same process that I mentioned above I just copy and paste my adsense codes into the website at exactly where I want the Adsense ads to appear.

Now I'll let you judge for yourself - How do the Adsense Ads look on my blog?

Adsense Doesn't Approve "Free" Blogs

I don't know where this myth came from but it is not true. Blogger.com has always been suggested as a good place to start one's own blog. Blogger is free but more importantly Blogger encourages you to add adsense to your blog.

So go ahread and start a free blog on Blogger.com

Getting More Traffic To Your Site (or blog)

"How do I get more traffic to my site?" is an often asked question. First you should understand that you not only want more traffic to your site but you want the RIGHT kind of traffic to your site. If we're talking strictly getting more clicks on your site then you have to get more visitors who are interested in your site and what your site has to offer them. To put it more simply you have to define your target market. Your target market is the group of people that your site would most benefit.

Let's take my blog for example. My target market (or at least one of them anyway) are people that are new to adsense and want to know more about it. I want to educate them more about adsense and hopefully drum up some business for myself. As you can see from my counter that is at the bottom of this blog my traffic numbers are good and growing! I do no paid advertising and I work at getting more visitors to my site.

That is the same thing that you will have to do if you want to increase the number of visitors to your site who will (hopefully) click on the adsense ads.

Once people get a taste of earning that adsense money they start to do more and more to increase the number of visitors to their site. There are a lot of free things that you can do to increase the number of visitors to your site. In fact there are a lot of sites out there that have a lot of helpful tips for doing just that!

Getting more traffic to your site will require some effort on your part but just think of those added adsense rewards!

Say "Hello" To My Newest Client - The Computer Dude!

"The Computer Dude". If you take a look at his blog you will see that it is just getting started. Some of the content was added by me so that gives me another professional title of "Blog Content Provider". Also take a good look at how I blended the Adsense Ads so that the color of the adsense ads blend well with the blog's layout.

As the days go by I will continue to tweak this blog more and more. The client is new to blogging and a good reason why I suggested Blogger.com to them was because Blogger gives you the option of adding your entries by email. There is also a new counter that has been added to the bottom of the page and one of the next things that I am going to add is a stats tracker so that I can see where this blog's visitors are coming from.

Since this client is new to blogging I am also going to suggest some sites that they can go to increase the number of visitors to his blog.

As of July 2nd his current number of visitors is 10.

AS of July 2nd there are no adsense earnings to report because the adsense ads were just added within the last 24 hours.

I will keep track of this client's visitor rate as well as the progress of their adsense earnings, click-thru rates, etc.,

If you would like to hire me as your adsense consultant or want to view a list of my services and the basic package prices just visit my Adsense Consultant Page.

Checking Your Adsense Earnings

One of the first things I do when I turn on my computer is check my adsense earnings for the day! As a matter of fact I will check my adsense earnings more than once a day if I'm online for a long period of time.

If you're new to Adsense you will probably be doing the same thing too. As a matter of fact I know that a lot of the seasoned Adsense publishers check their earnings daily too.

I even remember reading a post from an Adsense publisher saying that he was checking for the "payment in progress" line at least 30 times during the span of a few days!

So don't think that you're alone if you check your adsense earnings frequently. Believe me you are NOT alone!

You Can't Predict Your Earnings Daily - It's Impossible!

I checked my Adsense earnings for yesterday (Saturday) and found that it was one of my highest earning days for June. However what's striking about this is that it wasn't one of my highest impression days. You would think that the more visitors to your site the more click-thrus and thus the more money you would make. Not so in this case.

Some of my cpm's were very high for that day. One was for over $400! I have had cpm's as high as $1,000 but not very often.

So it's really true what they say and that is for you to concentrate on the content of your website or blog as opposed to trying to get the highest paying keywords. I know its slower this way but it is for the best!
