Well The Computer Brother has his blog up and ready and recently applied to Adsense so that they could join Adsense. This was just done yesterday and we are both awaiting work on whether or not his blog has been approved for adsense.
Once approved then the ads can be added to his blog!

As I told one of my clients,
The Computer Brother, you are going to have to treat this as a business! Even though your blog may be personal or general in nature you're wanting to put up adsense ads on it so that you can make money with it. It doesn't mean that you can't be "true to your blog" its just that since you want to make money with your blog you're going to want to do more when you start to see that it is earning you money.
Think of your blog as your own little personal magazine where advertisers are paying you to advertise in your "magazine".
As with almost any magazine out there there is a personal and business side to it. The personal side is the content/articles of the magazine and the business side is the ads, promotion and marketing of the magazine.
Like I have said many times before if you want your blog or site to show up in the search engines first decide what keywords you want associated with your blog or site. For instance my search terms would be "adsense consultant" and if you enter that search term in google then my blog will show up on page 1 or page 2 of the resutls that google brings back.
You have to decide which search terms you want associated with your blog, see where your blog ranks when those search terms are used and if your blog doesn't show up as high on the results that you want it to then you have to work on incorporating your desired keywords into the contents of your blog (or site).
It may seem like a lot of work but that doesn't mean that it can't be fun and the more you enjoy your work the more it will show in your blog (or website) and the more that it will show to others.
I think the thing that a lot of people are thinking is that they think their blog won't work well with adsense.
Here is a link to an entry about how much money some people are making with adsense and if you take a good look at this list you will see that there are different types of blogs/websites all with different themes, subjects and niches - so why couldn't your blog or site be one of them?
